STUDENT AFFAIRS

The College has an efficient and vibrant student’s affairs section comprising of Admission office, Placement Cell, Information Technology Service Center, Human Resource and Accounts office. The activities of all these offices have been properly coordinated to facilitate the students.

Admission Office:

Admission office plays the key role in passing out first hand information to prospective candidates for admission to the college, eligibility requirements, residential facilities and fee structure in the University. Necessary guidance is provided to the applicants for conduct of entry test, and helps the selected students in completing enrollment formalities. Admission office functions in close coordination with the registrar and accounts offices.

Information Technology Service Centre (ITSC):

ITSC acts as Data Base centre and has complete information regarding the students’ right from admission through studies and to completion of final degree. ITSC is regularly developing various modules for generating reports and information for the examination branch, accounts section, admission office, human resource and College store.

Students Activities

The College places special attention on moulding and developing the personalities of individuals as a whole. Special emphasis is laid on arranging lectures, seminars, workshops and symposia, debates, declamation contests, literary evenings and quiz competitions.
Activities are organized by various students committees concerned with sports, culture, health, research, student welfare, transport, environment etc. Student members of these committees are elected from each class. A faculty member is appointed on each of these committees in order to provide guidance and to facilitate implementation of decisions that require interaction with the university. The committees conduct their business according to established policies and procedures.
Students are encouraged to interact with faculty pertaining to academic affairs and co curricular activities.
